Atlus has released some new assets for their upcoming game, Dragon’s Crown. Last week they released a couple of new trailers and this week they released the box art.
The aforementioned trailers introduce two of the characters: The Sorceress and The Fighter.
“The Fighter is the hulking meatshield of Dragon’s Crown. Clad in armor and skilled as a swordsman, the fighter sets the pace for the battlefield with quick strikes and area-of-affect power attacks. A good all-around character, the Fighter packs enough brawn to survive battles while still being a deadly combatant.”
“The Sorceress exudes a powerful aura thanks to the lethal elemental magic she uses to leave stacks of frozen or burnt corpses in her wake. But her powers don’t end there – her knowledge of the dark necromantic arts allows her to raise skeletons to fight for her as an ally. If things get too perilous for the Sorceress, a teleport spell allows her to blink away from danger. Her vast amount of skills means she’s suited as a support or solo character.”
The game looks to be very beautiful and artistic, and as you might guess, the box art looks just as great.

Atlus will also be releasing an artbook for Dragon’s Crown.
“The Artworks will be 64 pages of full-color illustrations from Dragon’s Crown. This includes intricate drawings of the characters in the game, lush environment backgrounds, and descriptions from the artist himself. Also included in the art book will be commissioned illustrations of the Dragon’s Crown universe from three prominent Japanese video game artists: Akira Yasuda (Akiman), Kinu Nishimura, and Gouda Cheese (BENGUS).”
Dragon’s Crown comes to PS3 and PS Vita on August 6th, 2013!
